Happy Holidays in 10 different languages

Despite the challenging, chaotic and sometimes tragic year 2020 has been, it is important to take time to reflect, relax (as much as possible) and spend time with loved ones - even if it's time spent virtually!

For a bit of fun, we have included how to say "Happy Holidays" in ten of the major world languages (listed alphabetically).

  1. Chinese (simplified): 节日快乐 (Jiérì kuàilè)

  2. Dutch: Fijne vakantie

  3. English: Happy Holidays!

  4. French: Joyeuses Fêtes!

  5. German: Frohe Feiertage!

  6. Italian: Buone Feste!

  7. Japanese: ハッピーホリデー (Happīhoridē)

  8. Portuguese: Boas festas

  9. Spanish: Felices Fiestas!

  10. Swedish: God jul

And a bonus one for fun: In Hawaiian: Hauʻoli lā hoʻomaha or Hau’oli Lanui.
