  Aug 25 2011 As Europe’s third biggest oil company and U.S. based SunPower pair up, another project is underway for Total in the Barents Sea, a marginal water mass in the Arctic Ocean. Russia’s Novatek, one of the largest extractors of natural gas in the world, is developing project Yamal LNG with Gazprom, and in July of this year the Russian government announced the purchase of Total’s stake in the major Arctic natural gas project.
