Foreign Translations, Inc. was awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Contract with the U.S. Government, No GS-10F-0332R, as a provider of translation services. The contract is in effect until 2010.
"Although the application took about six months to complete, it was well worth the effort," said Ken Zwerdling, CEO and co-founder of Foreign Translations, Inc. "Now we have the opportunity to compete at a much higher level. This contract provides us a presence in front of an attentive government audience which is actively seeking our services. It is now easy for federal government agencies to procure Foreign Translations, Inc.’s services quickly and cost effectively."
In order to receive a contract, the General Services Administration evaluated a number of criteria including Foreign Translations, Inc.’s quality, pricing, corporate references and turnaround times. The GSA listing serves the vendor as well as the buyer. When federal government agencies place orders from GSA selected vendors, it allows the agencies to fulfill their bidding and quote comparison requirements. In other words, it allows for a one-stop-shop for all agencies seeking information about similar products and services.
